July 24th 2009

The weekend of July 24th, I kept Jackson most of the weekend while his mom and dad were out of town. We had a big day.
First we met up with Kelsi and Brayden at Liberty Park to play in the water. The boys had a blast. They are less than a month apart in age and are so dang cute!
Here are Jackson and Brayden playing with a leaf.
It was pretty much the highlight of the day for them.
Here is Brayden giving us a great shot of his single tooth.
The other one is almost in but you cant see it just yet.

Here are our cute feet :)

Once we were done with the park we went back to my house to get the boys lunch and to lay them down for a nap. Not as sucessfull as we would have hoped but they were still really happy as they played out in the back yard in the water.

Such cute curls!

After dinner, Kelsi and Brayden went home and Jackson and I headed out to Wheeler Farm and met Tawnya, Kapri, Shonni, and Addison.
Here is the first animal Jackson saw...he wasnt sure what to think

Kapri was willing to leap over the fence and pet the baby cow
Addison wasnt so lucky, he mom wanted to feed her to the cow LOL

She really liked the bunny
She pretty much loved all of the animals
Kapri wasnt so sure about all of them. She must have figured her foot was a safer bet than her hand. As you can see, Addison thinks this is all pretty funny.

Jackson really liked the little pigs
They were pretty cute...for pigs

After Wheeler Farm, Jackson and I went to his house to get to bed. He was way past ready. The next morning he ended up being very sick :( He is all better now but it took a while and a couple days in the hospital.

I am not sure why these pictures are so blurry but they work well enough.

BBQ & Party!

When the cats are away...The mice will play. In this case, my parents are the cats and Charles and I are the mice. The "cats" recently went to Pennsylvania to visit family. They left Charles and I in charge of the house. As you can imagine, we took full advantage of that.
My parents left Thursday and we had an awesome party on Friday.
We started things off with a casual BBQ with Steak...Hot Dogs...Corn on the Cob...and some Pasta Salad. Delicious I tell you! Brandon did all of the barbecue work and did a fantastic job.
Here is Brandon and I trying to deal with the corn...Our faces are funny!

Here are Kelsi, Me, and Kendra after eating our delicious food.

Even Lucky got a little corn. He was pretty much in heaven.

After dinner, we hung out with Craig and Kelsi's baby Brayden. He is a cutie.

Once Brayden went to bed...We got the party started!!!
After a couple shots, we decided it was a good idea to play Hands up, Stands up.
Once we were worn out from all that we came back in for some pool

Brandon and Kara played against Craig and Kelsi and as you can see from the picture below, Brandon and Kara were the winners!
Charles was the bar tender for most of the night. He started everyone off with some AMF's

Apparently Kelsi liked it, it was gone in 4.3 seconds
After Charles made everyone drinks he had to take a shower (he had just got home from work)
So Brandon thought it was a good idea to break in and take his picture. Im not so sure Charles agreed with his grand idea

Then it was time for some drinking games!
We played Kings Cup (at least I think thats what they called it)

I dont know if Kara lost or if she just wanted to drink out of the Kings cup

Then the party moved outside

For another child's game...
TWISTER!

Too much fun!
So for some reason we all thought it was awesome that we could touch the ceiling. We are weird I know :)

We had a little obsession with the fish out back and decided to become them

Here we are in the tree. This seems to be a popular tree when alcohol is involved

And dont worry. My parents knew all about the party before they even got on the plane. It was an awesome party and im sure there will be many more to come.
