Camping Trip in Manti

So the first weekend we are back in town we go camping. That's the way I like it. I am not even unpacked from Pennsylvania and I have to pack for a weekend getaway to Manti. I love it.

I have been dying to go camping all summer and unfortunately I have not gotten to go as much as I would like but I have been having a good time non the less.

Any way...The people who went camping were...

Me of course :) Charles and my parents. We then invited a few friends (Kara, Brandon, Ashleigh, Joe, another Brandon, Kendra and her Dad Lonnie and his Girlfriend Angie) And of course Lucky came as well. I would never leave him home from a camping trip. He loves it so much :)

We went up to Manti and just found a clear spot on the side of the road and set up camp. My parents were there early to get the trailer set up and were ready for bed by the time we rolled in around 11:30 pm. And we still had to set up a tent! So we hurried and got our sleeping stuff situated and crashed.

7:00 am bright and early everyone heard my dad yelling for everyone to wake up. If he's up...everyone is up. Now everyone but me are NOT morning people so I'm sure they weren't too happy about being up so early when we went to bed so late. But Brandon said he would get up early every morning if he got one of my mom's bagel sandwiches :) He loved them cuz they are so so so delicious!

The first ride of the day took us to a dead end with a beautiful waterfall. So we decided to hike up to the top. Great idea! It was so beautiful!

After our hike we hung out at the camp and played mastermind with teams. Now, normally you don't play on teams with that game but if you haven't ever tried it...you HAVE to! It is so much more fun!

After some games and lunch the girls took a ride and got some more cute pictures

On the way back it started to rain and we saw a beautiful rainbow!! I love rainbows!

Once we got back it was about time for some dinner. And of course we had Tin Foil Dinners! Oh so delicious!

Once we were done it was time for our bartender Charles to get the party started!

So in the middle of the party we decided it would be a good idea to pick up Kendra for a picture. I think it might have been my grad idea. So it started out pretty good...

But ended in disaster! Apparently we are not strong drunk people and Kendra ended up on the ground after each attempt. And there were many!

Sunday morning my dad let us all sleep in which was very nice of him :) Once we were all up and moving Charles and Kendra went down to the lake to go fishing. There were down there almost all day and missed out on being in this fabulous picture :) I'm sure they are super sad

All in all it was a wonderful camping trip. But we had to get back home to get cleaned up and rested for our BBQ the next day for Labor Day!
