Trip to Pennsylvania (Part 3)

On August 23, 2009 we went to the Carneige Science Center with Jessica and Joe. It was so much fun. I really love that place.

We started the day with a little bouncin around...

Here are Charles, Jessica and Joe waiting for their turn.

Their shoes look way to big to fit on the shoe rack :) Funny

Charles of course had to go the highest and make it look soooo easy to do

Then Jessica took her turn and realized it wasnt as easy as he made it look
And Joe was just goofin off, havin a good time
Then we went to one of my favorite things when i was little. The earthquake room!

I love this because you sit in a little booth and you can experience what an earthquake could feel like. Its a lot more entertaining when you are little but we still had a good time as you can see.

Then we came to my favorite part of the whole 4 floors of the science center. The miniature railroad town. I love love love little towns and this one is really good. I took a million pictures of it but I wont show you all of them since I am sure not everyone will find this as entertaining as I do.

There is just so much detail. And a lot of moving pieces. Kids on swings, people mowing the grass and rowing a boat. Its so cute!
Then we went to the robot floor where Charles played air hockey against the computer. There was a line to play and everyone in front of Charles lost miserably. So of course he had to show them up...

And he did. He was the first one in line to actually score on the robot.

Charles was really really good about humoring me for pictures. I am so glad he is so easy going :) He's the best brother ever!
We then went to see a mini show called High Voltage. It was pretty interesting.

He had this girls hair standing straight up! It was cute :)
Then he had a few of the "kids" come up and all hold hands so that he could shock everyone down the line. Charles and Joe thought they should be part of the "kids"
Then they did something else that was really loud. And I seriously cant remember what it was even called but I love the picture so i put it on here :)
Cool right??

Then my next favorite part of the science center

The Submarine!

You actually get to go inside. Its really neat and it was actually in use many years ago.

That is way too many buttons! How do they even remember what they all do??
The doors are really small. You have to be a skinny guy to live in this thing.
Here is the kitchen
And where they would eat and play games
Jessica and I thought we would play games since we were there
There were also pictures of ladies which I thought was awesome
The sleeping areas were so cramped. Better not be claustrophobic!
And the small bathroom
Charles posing for another picture for me
Now I have Jessica doing it :)
And Charles and I at the end of the Sub.
After we were done at the Science Center we were starving so we tried to find the nearest "Eat'n Park" (They are everywhere)
Well the GPS decided we needed to head to an exotic car dealership instead. Crazy thing. So we tried another one and we finally made it there. The trademark of Eat'n Park is their smiley face cookie. So of course I had to get one :)
I also had to get this dessert and I am pretty sure it is the best dessert I have EVER had! So delicious!!

Stay tuned for Kennywood Park!
