On August 27, 2009 we went to dinner with our Aunt Mary and Uncle Lee.
We went to Olive Garden and it was delicious :)
It was nice to get to see them and thank you again for lunch. It was great!The next day we went to visit one of my dad's friends, Ray and his family. We just hung out for a few hours before he went to work. It was nice to just sit and do nothing. We didn't do a lot of that during this trip. Then we came back to my Pap's and started getting things packed so we could head back home the next day.
When we woke up on the 29th we were pretty much packed and somehow we managed to fit all of my stuff plus all the souvenirs we bought into our suitcases. It was quite a project but we made it work.
I was getting ready and my Pap noticed i put on some lip gloss and told my Grandma about it and so i offered her some. She put it on her lips and then i told her to give him a kiss.
He was not so sure about that idea
But then of course after she kissed him he was ok with the idea even though he had shiny lips
I am so so so glad I was able to spend some time with them. They are wonderful loving people and I am proud to say they are my grandparents.
We left and got on our plane to come home. Even though I had a great time I was really ready to get home and see my friends and parents and of course Lucky! I missed him a lot and he missed me too. He told me so.
When we finally arrived in Utah at 11:30 pm my parents picked us up and took us to our welcome home party. It was awesome to be welcomed home like that. Thanks guys for loving us so much!!
Well that is the end of our vacation. Obviously I didnt include all 700 pictures I took but if you want to see them all you have to do is ask. :) Im sure I will have to set appointments to fit you all in :)
Next will be our welcome home party :)
