Charles 24th Birthday

For Charles 24th birthday he decided he wanted to go to dinner with our family and a few friends. We chose to do Chinese and went to The Fortune Cookie. It was a pretty cute place and our big table was the only one in the restaurant for a while.

Tawnya brought Charles his present in a Barbie bag. Pretty awesome if you ask me :)

And what was inside you ask? Classic Rock Band! Charles has been playing Rock Band for the last few months and has gotten very good at the drums. He was sick of playing the Beatles and the Country Rock Band so he was VERY grateful to have some new songs to play.

Thanksgiving

Normally for Thanksgiving we head over to our cousin's for dinner. This year however, I thought it would be nice to stay home and have dinner with just the four of us. It took a little convincing but I finally was able to make it happen.

My mom and I stayed home all day and prepared all of the delicious food while my dad and Charles were out playing in the snow on their snow mobiles. It was a nice day for some mother/daughter and father/son time.

When the boys got home they cleaned up and we all sat down at the table for our Thanksgiving feast. Here is a picture of our table before we dug in :)

Even Lucky got in on the action. I always give him a special treat on Thanksgiving.

Needless to say, Lucky was very excited and happy to be able to have "people food". He pretty much licked off all the good stuff first and then ate his regular food. After he was done he kept going over to the bowl to see if anything else had magically appeared :)

Zero was curious as well so he decided to check out this bowl as well...

He decided it was a better seat than dish. That cat sure keeps us entertained :)

All in all it was a wonderful Thanksgiving. My mom informed me that next year she expects at least an extra chair or two at the table with the possibility of a highchair as well. She isn't ready to be a grandma or anything :) She is going to have to wait. As of today, Charles and I are still both VERY single. There will be no highchairs but I would like to have two extra chairs :) We shall see.

New Moon

On November 20, 2009 at 2:30 am, Charles and I and a few of our friends went to see New Moon. It was opening night and it was awesome. Charles and I have both read all four books. He isn't as big a fan as I am but he did enjoy the books and likes to see how the movies compare. I enjoyed every part of the books and of the movies so far.

I know we will be going to see the next two movies when they come out as well :)

Halloween!

Charles and I went to Brandon and Kara's for a Halloween party with Jungle Juice! Yummy :) We had a great time and took a million pictures. I will save you the pain and only show you a few :)
