Christmas

Merry Christmas!

For Christmas 2009 our family stayed home like we usually do. Just the four of us. The way I like it :)

Charles made his delicious german pancakes. He looks still half asleep but they were amazing :)

Then we let Lucky open one of his presents. I discovered that he really enjoys opening presents when we tell him its ok. He luckily wont just start opening them whenever he feels like :)

We didn't even have to help him. He even bit through the plastic to get to his treats :)

We gave Zero some cat nip... Needless to say, He had a great Christmas as well.

Then we got to opening our presents :)

Dad got Sirius Radio

Mom got Steelers stuff

Charles got clothes

And I got Disney movies like Up and Finding Nemo

We also got Wii games

And matching pj's :)

It was a wonderful Christmas and I look forward to many more.
Maybe with a few extra people next time ;)

Steelers vs Packers

VS

On December 20, 2009, the Steelers played against the Packers. It just so happens that our friends, Tawnya and Cody are Packers fans. So what a better time to have them over when we are playing them.

I am going to be honest, with the way the Steeler had been playing I was expecting to have Tawnya and Cody up in my face rubbing in their win. So lucky for me I wore my two lucky bracelets and had on a Steelers shirt as well. I hadn't been wearing them the last few weeks so no wonder we were on a losing streak. So I had my hopes up for a win.

As the game was going on we all had some entertainment. Tawnya and Cody's daughter, Kapri and Brayden were being all cute with each other.

Then we got the idea for some Santa hats and more pictures. Imagine that :)

Brayden was all about the pictures. Kapri...Not so much

Brayden thought he would help Kapri put a cute green bow on her head to match her Packers jersey.
He is so thoughtful.

Kapri decided it was her turn to wear the hat. And of course she couldn't pick up her own. She needed the one Brayden had on. He about fell and knocked his head on the table. Good thing we were close by to catch him.

Cute little Lucky. Just hanging out with his Santa hat. This was about the 40th time I put it on. He finally gave up and just left it on.

Towards the end of the game it started getting intense. Brayden was even helping to cheer for the Steelers! Good choice in teams.

It was so intense the last 2 minutes of the game that Cody, my mom and Craig couldn't even sit. It was freakin hilarious!

I am not sure what he was doing?? That's my dad for ya :)

And at the end of the two minutes the winner was.....

Steelers!!!
It was because I wore my bracelets, I just know it.

The Princess and the Frog

On December 11, 2009 Charles and I and a few friends went to see

The Princess and the Frog

And if you have not seen it yet, I STRONGLY recommend it. It is the first real Disney Princess movie in I don't know how long. And it was truly a Disney movie.
I am obsessed with it and there was some great music.

So go see it. . . What are you waiting for?? GO! :)

Cocktail Poker Party

On December 5, 2009 we hosted a Cocktail Poker Party.

The rules...

1. You MUST dress up

Yep, that's the only rule. Pretty simple right. And everyone did a fantastic job because we all looked amazing!

I am pretty sure Zero hates it when I drink. I always want him in the pictures.

All in all I think everyone had a good time.

Cant wait for the next poker party. Next time I will make good choices :)
