Camping soap stone

We left for camping on August 13th. We tried to get out town right after work but it just wasn't going to happen this time. We ended up getting to our camp spot after dark so we had no idea what we were going to wake up to.

Luckily we saw this...

Not bad right? Well we also saw this...

I don't know how well you can see but there are termites all over it! Gross!

Here is Charles eating his leftover dinner for breakfast. A fantastic idea if you ask me.

Craig was being a guy and trying to shoot things and throw rocks at them to knock them over. Charles was busy eating but of course thought he should show him up as soon as he was done. He picked up a rock...threw it at the wine bottle...and hit it dead on and broke it to pieces.

Here is how excited he was!

After a delicious breakfast we all decided to go on a hike up the big rock hill. I figured Lucky would have no problem climbing the hill so we all headed off.

Lucky got pretty far but the holes were too big and deep and he is way too old for this. So him and I stayed behind while everyone else made it to the top.

While they were gone, Lucky and I had a mini photo shoot.

After the hike we played some games and I took a nap. We were just waiting for the night to get here!

Kelsi and Craig are planning to start trying to make a little brother or sister for Brayden. So this was Kelsi's last "party" weekend. And we wanted to make it the best weekend!

Finally the night was here...

We love our Kelsi!

Ummm... Charles is kinda silly!

At some point during the evening, Kelsi decided she needed to have her hair in a french braid and I was the girl to do it!

Then the trip was over. Sad. But we all had a great time and no one was sick or hurt too badly minus Craig's fight with a tree and Jen's fight with Craig's tree sword. All in all a wonderful weekend!
