Tanner Park

I have had my dog Lucky for 9 years and this was the first time I had been to Tanner Park. And let me tell you, if you have a dog, you NEED to visit this place. It is beautiful and the dogs can be off leash while you go on a little hike with the dogs. So much fun!

Now that Jen has a dog we are taking them out all the time. Lucky doesnt know what to do with himself! Here are the dogs way in front of us sniffing and marking every tree possible!

Aww...Jen and Teeko! So cute :)

Me and Lucky. He is so good to pose for pictures.

By the end of our hike the we were soaked! It was raining part of the time and the dogs jumped in the stream. They were very smelly but had a great time! We will definitely be going back.

Carving Pumpkins

Carving pumpkins. You think this is only for kids. Oh no...This is for any age!

We had 7 adults carving pumpkins on Friday night. Such fun!

Here is Charles and Kayla and her husband Justin working on their masterpieces.

Craig looks like he is thinking of hurting Charles or his pumpkin! :)

The final result!
Top row: Justin, Kayla, Kelsi
Bottom row: Charles, Deana, Craig, Jen

They all look amazing and the best part is we had a great time!

Jen's New Dog!

My friend Jen has been wanting a dog for quite a while. Her current basement apartment wouldnt allow dogs so she did the extreme and instead of just renting a place that allows dogs, she bought a condo! This dog better feel special that she bought a condo for him!

She looked at quite a few dogs but finally made a decision on a lab/german shepherd mix named Teeko. He is a rescue dog. He was abandoned and was very skinny and is pretty shy and afraid of some people especially guys. But with all the love he is getting from Jen and her friends and family he is coming out of his shell wonderfully!

Jen wanted to change his name but since he is two years old we thought it might be kind of hard. She came up with the best name for him. Yoshie! We both tried calling him Yoshie and it was like we were talking to the wall. But as soon as we said, Teeko! He turned right around and came to us. So it looks like he will remain Teeko :)

We introduced Teeko and Lucky to each other and we were hoping that they got along because we were planning on them hanging out a lot!
Lucky for us, they love each other! Yay!!!

Here is Teeko chewing on his toy. He doesnt sit still for pictures so its kind of blurry. But no worries, I am sure I will get a lot more pictures.
And here is my Lucky. He is looking so old! He is 9 years old now!!! Where has the time gone?

Halloween 2010

Happy Halloween!

This year for Halloween Charles and I went with a couple friends to a halloween party. We all had our costumes early in the month (except Charles) but we didnt have a party yet! Luckily Charles had some friends, Justin & Kayla, who recently bought a house and were having a party.

Charles, Kelsi, Craig, Deana
AKA
Viking, Pirate wench, Pirate, Little Red Riding Hood

Boys and their swords... :)

Kelsi liked her hooka that night. So much so, that she had to put it in our picture :)

Joe and his unique costumes...I wasnt a fan so I stole a gun and tried to shoot the lama!

Then Craig decided it was a good idea to eat Charles' horn. Silly!

I think Kelsi had a good time! We were up all night after the party talking for quite a while. It was a great party!

Girls Night Out

Jen and I needed a girls night out so that we were man hating at much. So we went out with her friend Kayla to the Westerner. We took a cab. First time for all of us. It was quite the experience.

We had a little luck with the boys. Kayla received a rose from a secret admirer. Jen danced with a James Franco look alike. And I was talking with a guy I have been chatting with from a dating site.

We all got a little attention from guys which was nice :)

The ride home on the cab was interesting. Out cab wasnt coming so we split a cab with "James Franco" and his friend because they said they were around the corner. Apparently our "around the corner" and their "around the corner" is something totally different! Luckily after I said something they paid most of our way home. I ended up meeting the guy I was talking to that night. If you want to get the details on that you can check my other blog here.
