Thanksgiving 2010

Thanksgiving day was beautiful! The weather was cold but sunny with blue skies and not a cloud in site. This year, like the last, we decided to do Thanksgiving at home with just our family. The boys were mostly in the living room watching football and my mom and I were in the kitchen working on the food. She did most of the work but I was there to entertain her :)
When she was cutting onions for the stuffing the smell was extremely strong and I had to go outside to be able to even open my eyes without stinging. While I was out there I thought I should document the beauty.

Lucky was waiting for anything to fall as usual. Lucky for him he was going to get a little bit of all of it once it was ready. He just didn't know that yet.

My mom was cleaning out the turkey. I am not a fan of raw meat and seeing her cleaning it was just disgusting. She said to just pretend its a little baby when you are cleaning it. Gross!

Charles was helping out a lot...in his dreams

While the parents were doing a little more cooking I decided to do what I love...Take more pictures!

Yummy turkey!!!

Yucky! But apparently people are a fan...Just not me.

Don't worry Lucky, I didn't forget about you :)

I didn't give him too much. He has to watch that waistline!

Finally it was time to eat! During the course of cooking, my mom called Phyllis to see if she had Thanksgiving plans. Normally she does Thanksgiving at her house but she was planning to do it the next day this year. Her and Rick were sitting at home with NO PLANS! So she invited them over for some yummy food.
They came with Shayden and "Mother".
Dinner was delicious!!!

Later that night Craig, Kelsi and Brayden came over. We somehow talked my parents into playing Killer Bunnies with us. This is a very nerdy but awesome game. There is a lot to learn initially but once you play 2 or 3 times, you are hooked!

Cute little Brayden was an angel just watching his movie :)

Zero was sleeping under the table while we played. He is so cute!

Happy Thanksgiving!!!
