Jen and I took the dogs out for a walk on Sunday. We went to a park and walked around and let the dogs sniff and chase ducks. I kept Lucky on his leash most of the time because he needs to practice his walking skills. He is really bad a pulling on the leash. Jen has a prong collar for Teeko and while he was running around like a crazy person, I borrowed the collar so see how Lucky liked it. Well, he HATED it. He hated it so much that I am going to get him once because it worked like a charm!! No pulling! So unfortunately for him I will be getting him one for Christmas.
Anyways, after it was pretty dark Jen and I started to head back but went past the empty playground and decided we should let the dogs go down the slide. Lucky has been on a few slides in his day but Teeko has not. Lucky did pretty good at just sliding down on all fours. Teeko on the other hand, was not really a fan. We had to force him down the slide. It was silly :)
Next, Jen saw the swings. We LOVE swings! So her and I went over and started swinging. As soon as Teeko saw what she was doing he was having none of it! He ran over to her and was barking and howling at her to stop! He was trying to stop her with his body so she kept running into him. When she finally came to a stop he jumped up and was basically hugging her and so grateful she was still alive after being on the "killer" swing. Each time she tried to start swinging again he would freak out and get in her way so she would have to stop. The funny thing was, Teeko didn't care that I was swinging really high. Neither did Lucky. Teeko was only interested in keeping his mommy safe. So Jen waited for Teeko to get distracted with Lucky and he was off behind a tree and she started swinging again. As soon as he saw her he ran over and was not happy she was being so risky again with this swinging business. So he grabbed onto her coat with his teeth and basically swung a few times with her so she would stop. It was really funny! I was going to take a picture but it was so dark. So you will just have to use your imagination on this one :)
