I don't normally go out for St. Patricks day but this year, Charles and I decided it was a good idea. Cami and some of her friends were planning to go to Maggie McGee's for some green beer. They were supposed to be there at about 830. So Charles and I showed up at 9 and there was no Cami! So Charles got his green beer and we found a seat over by some of the pool tables. Knowing Charles, you know he made friends right away. So we were talking with this group of people playing pool and they asked if we wanted to get in on a game but we told them no thanks, we weren't there to steal their table, just wanted a seat. So they played and let me tell you, they were horrible! :) Well, most are compared to Charles and my Dad. So Charles could no longer watch and had to show them how it was done. He grabbed some money and began to shoot.
The first game with the best player at the table wasn't too bad. Charles won and the guy had only 2 balls left. The next game...The guy didn't make any and was all pissy about it. Charles apologized and the guys said "For what? That your a better shooter than I am?" And Charles was a little taken aback by this statement and went with it. He said "Well, since that's the only option you are giving me, ya, cuz I am better than you" Then the guy said he would come back when Charles had drank more so he had a better chance. Charles felt the need to say that he shoots better once he has had a few. Oh boy, he sure knows how to make friends lol
Eventually at about 10 Cami and her gang show up. She came with her new man Cole, Scott, Mindy and Kim. Now that we had a pool table we all just hung out around the table and played some pool.
I forgot my camera again so Cami was nice enough to take pictures of all of us and send them to me. Thanks Cami!
Charles and I didn't stay long since we both had to work tomorrow. But it was a good time and I might go out again next year!
I went to see Tawnya and Cody's new baby girl yesterday. She is adorable and looks just like Kapri! Tawnya was supposed to be induced on Wednesday but Piper had other plans and came on Tuesday. Now Tawnya and Cody have two beautiful girls. They say they are done but we will see. I think they should try for a boy in two years :) 
Cami and I went to see the Diary of Anne Frank at Pioneer. It was really good. Depressing, but good. First we went to Cafe Rio. Yum! We both ate way too much. Then we headed to the play. The acting was great. I couldnt remember the ending of the play but I was sure some of them died. I just didnt realize that Anne died. Sad. Makes me want to read the book again.
The next play I saw was called In. I had no idea what it was about. I have season tickets so I get to see all of them and I havent disliked one yet, so I was excited to see it. I took Matt with me this time. Again no pictures. This was basically about a young kid who was trying to get into Harvard but didnt do so well on his SAT's. So his rich mother hires a tutor to help him. They of course have some love interest even though he is 17 and she is 28! A little creepy. But they didnt really do anything so its ok I guess. Anyway, the girl ends up submitting a personal statement for the boy and gets him In even though his SAT's were still low. Then they screw her over by stealing a book she had been working on for five years. So she screwed them over by letting Harvard know that he didnt write the personal statement. She did. It was a decent show. Not a comedy for sure and there was quite a bit of unexpected lanuage. Matt was not a fan. But we still had a great time at dinner and wandering around Gateway.
