Craig and Kelsi purchased season tickets to Hale Theatre this year. With that purchase she received an email stating that she should share with her friends and family. From what the email said, it looked like tickets were FREE! Sounded too good to be true but when i called, it was confirmed. They were free. As a "thank you" to Kelsi for sharing the offer with me, I decided to take her with me to see it again. She said that it was the best play she has ever seen! So when she had the opportunity to see it again, she jumped on it! Plus I told her i would buy her dinner for the free show ;)
Kelsi and I went to dinner at Applebee's and had some time to kill so we walked through Hale Theatre as I had never been there before. It is beautiful. Finally we were able to get in our seats. We were on row 9. You would think at any other theatre that those would be amazing seats. But we were in the back row! Its a crazy small theatre so all of the seats are good seats. Kelsi prefers the higher rows anyway and I can see why.
It was a really good play. I cried a really good cry at the end. So much so, that when it was over, i still really had to hold myself together. I haven't cried like that in a long time. It felt pretty good. But I gave myself a headache from holding it in so hard.
I told Kelsi to not let me forget to take a picture for the blog. So on the way home she shouted "We have to take a picture!" So we are in the car in my driveway and we tried to take a picture. We forgot our camera's of course so she used her phone. We had to lay back in the seats so that the light was on the front of our faces and not the back. But we got our picture :)
