Road Trip (Part 3)

The next morning after NO sleep, we got up late. We had to check out at noon and were up at 11:30! So we rushed to get ready and head out. This hotel had the nicest bath tub and we didn't even get to use it. I had all my shampoo and shaving stuff ready to go and since we didn't have time to shower, I left it all there! I was not a happy camper being that the conditioner and shave gel I left were brand new. Oh well.

We headed home to Utah. We pulled off on a view point and were able to see part of Lake Powell. Neither of us had been there before. It was a beautiful day.

 

 

 

 

Yay! Finally back to Utah!

We still had one more stop to make before we could officially end our road trip.

Moqui Cave

This used to be a bar and dance hall.

 

 

 

There were a lot of artifacts and statues and other awesome old things.

 

I liked the dinosaur tracks :)

 

 

 

They were Steelers fans! Those must have been some awesome people!

 

 

 

 

 

The main attraction in the cave is the glowing rocks! They were really cool. I would love to find one of those!

After we left the cave, we drove through a tunnel. Jen had never been in a tunnel. So we had to take a picture of course!

 

 

We ended up going through Zions National Park. It was beautiful! Jen had never been there either! We had a lot of firsts on this trip.

 

 

 

 

 

 

The whole way home Teeko kept trying to sleep. To give him a little pay back from the night before we kept waking him up. He was lay down and start to fall asleep and we would make all kinds of crazy noises to wake him up. He didn't sleep a wink the whole way home. Serves him right!

 

Finally we made it back home. It was an amazing trip! Had so much fun!!!
